I propose you this interesting female statue from Tanzania playing the drum.
It was collected in Burundi in the 70's, then passed on to another collector and I bought it by inheritance .
A reliquary hole on the skull filled with shellac, with ceremonial blood drips. His face has many beautiful ritual scarifications, clear and hard wood, an important termite hole at the base, an animal skin remains behind the arms.
Good condition, beautiful patina of use, height 34 cm, old.
