    Nepal mask

    The mask has a string on the back and a trace of red wax.

    Mask attributed to Nepalese Buddhist societies such as Rai or Tamang.
    The use and shape of these masks still remain a mystery.
    It could represent an ancestor face, used as a stage character or even demons.

    Very nice patina and general condition.
