    PISTOL of cavalry officer model 1833 / First type

    Long. total: 36 cm - Length. barrel: 19 cm - Cal.: 16 mm

    Original model or first type.
    Octagonal ribbon barrel with forty-eight stripes, rod of the rod of iron whose head formed by a ring is of brass, hallmarked "D".
    Breech tail ending in a point, small chimney called "commercial".
    Flat "surrounding" the plate, signed Manufacture Royale de Châtellerault and "D", monogrammed on the reverse.
    Steeply sloping butt, finely checkered grip.
    Marbled iron cap, fixed by two screws with ring.
