    Cavalry officer's pistol model 1833 / Second type

    Second type model.
    Octagonal damascus barrel with forty-eight stripes, marked with a 'G', 'C', '1849' and 'MN'.
    Stem of the iron rod whose head formed by a ring is made of brass, stamped "H", "L", "B".
    Breech tail ending in a point.
    Plate signed Manufacture Nouvelle de Châtellerault and "L", monogrammed and stamped with an "L" surmounted by a crown on the reverse.
    Steeply sloping butt, finely checkered handle.
    Marbled iron cap, fixed by two screws with ring.

    Very good mechanical behavior.
