France, Restoration period.
Steel, brass and wood
L.T. : 35,5cm. L. of the barrel : 20cm. Caliber: 17mm
Twisted steel barrel, with short sides to the thunder, with on the internal part, many punches and N°15.
Lock model ANXIII, transformed with percussion, engraved: "MANUF. Roy. De Maubeuge", and stamped with the crowned C, on the inside: the initials ND, a punch of control and the N°15. Counter plate in brass.
Capucine in brass, punched on the inside: N & MP.
Walnut frame, with half-length barrel, forming a smooth handle flaring downwards, the left side is stamped 153, engraved with the initials A. L. with an apparent stamp and the control mark C crowned
Ellipsoidal cap, brass, originally decorated with three fleur-de-lis, they were removed when the bodyguard left the King's Household.
Brass fittings, with the trigger guard ending in a fleuron. Iron ramrod.
Good condition.
