    Wahabi dagger, called jambiya.
    East Africa Costal. 19th century
    Steel, silver, horn, leather, brass, iron, fabric.
    L.T. 59cm - L. of the dagger : 56cm - L. of the blade : 43,5cm

    Curved, double-edged blade with a median edge engraved on the third part.
    Cruciform handle, in horn covered with engraved silver and decorated with six silver beads.
    Wooden scabbard covered with engraved silver on the first third; the second part is covered with engraved brass.
    The dagger has kept its leather belt, maintained by a loop, and a brass filigree.
