Subject in clay paste called 'Barbotine', signed by the ceramist R. Prunet.
This decorative object represents a couple of wild Mustang horses, with chestnut dresses with beautiful reflections. Rising on their hind legs, they seem almost entwined with each other. The male, with his voluminous red mane, seems to whisper some mysteries in the ear of his female, more wisely coiffed.
The domination of the right equine is marked by his chest with protruding pectorals, and more generally by the position, the power of his body, facing a mare with her head lowered.
The hooves of this pair rest on a base with green and brown dominance, shaded with yellow, and shaped to imitate a grassy meadow. This decorative animal object, of an interesting originality, sees its base engraved with the name of its creator: 'Prunet'.
