Magnificent and very large decorative silver metal ewer in the Louis XVI style. It is decorated with foliage, interlacing and volutes. Numerous vine leaves and bunches of grapes adorn the body of this object, accompanied by numerous garlands of pearls.
This ewer has a handle depicting a bottlenose dolphin, while the pouring spout is in the shape of a conch. On the front, a baby cherub holds two large garlands of flowers that join the base of the handle decorated with a goat's head.
Its brilliance and its delicate carvings make this ewer a rare object of fine workmanship.
