Empire period console, in mahogany veneer, topped by a small Belgian granite marble extracted from the quarry of Soignies in Belgium.
The belt presents a drawer opening by a reserve placed underneath.
This piece of furniture is composed of two columns dressed with brass rings and mahogany capitals at the top, as well as molded flanges at the bottom.
The whole rests on small offset feet in the front and rectangular section in the back.
The base is made of two symmetrical elements in mahogany burl.
The strong points of this console are, in particular, its quality of manufacture and its sober lines.
