Superb Louis XV-style jumping commode whose curved front is adorned with a large floral decoration in rosewood, violetwood, rosewood and light wood marquetry. Each plant motif seems to dance, revealing its finesse of execution.
The two pot-bellied drawers, with hidden crosspieces, are adorned with large ormolu handles featuring acanthus leaves.
The elegantly carved lower section is decorated with bronze scrolls and acanthus leaves, emphasizing the richness of the ornamentation. The projecting uprights, also curved, are enhanced by imposing bronze falls with Louis XV shells and scrolls, which extend to the finely worked sabots.
