Nice little desk in solid mahogany, with a mitred framed top. The workspace is lined with green leather in three elements, the junctions of which are cleverly concealed by cold friezes. Vignettes on the perimeter and golden patterns on the corners also embellish this dressing. The tray also has a small groove on its edges.
This piece of furniture offers, at each end, a retractable leather-covered pull that harmonizes perfectly with the top of the desk.
In the belt, there are two drawers with Louis XVI style entrances with pearl decorations, accompanied by their keys. The locks are in working order. The fronts of these openings are recessed and underlined by quarter-round brass rods. The interiors of the drawers are also in solid mahogany.
