This rosewood piece of furniture, opening with 18 small drawers, is decorated with decorative brass strips and stars. The drawers, fitted with pull rings on their square front, each have three compartments inside. This cabinet was originally used by an apothecary to store herbs, roots and various traditional remedies. It has paneled sides, straight legs and a small molded cornice.
Made in the Pondicherry region, a former French trading post in India, this piece of furniture is distinguished by its brass ornaments which contrast elegantly with the rich shade of the rosewood. Dating from the end of the 19th century, this piece of furniture is in excellent condition after a restoration carried out in our workshop. The finish is waxed for an authentic look.
We offer the possibility of delivery, in France and internationally.
