Daum - Miniature golden thistles vase - Signed - Glass and gilding - France, circa 1895.

Superb Daum Art Nouveau "golden thistle" vase circa 1895. Diamond-shaped glass with mauve base tinted in the mass and decoration in light relief of thistles painted in gold. Signature in hollow and gilding (gilding partly erased) "Daum Nancy" and the cross of Lorraine under the base.

Model in excellent condition, no bumps and no cracks.

Period: Art Nouveau period, around 1895.
Signed: Daum Nancy and the Lorraine cross.
