Superb and rare decanter with Venetian ribs and its stopper with 3 balls, in brown enamelled polychrome glass applied with a magnifying glass in Meisenthal by the decorator probably Désiré Christian, with naturalistic decoration of plants and insects (lily of the valley, forget-me-not, butterfly, beetle, etc...), signature " E. Gallé - Nancy " under the base, circa 1875. It is one of the rare first creation of Emile Gallé realized in small series in the workshop of his father Charles Gallé.
