Superb baluster vase in Limoges porcelain, signed "Camille Tharaud", with handmade decoration of flowers in blue colors and gold threads, art nouveau period around 1900/1920.

Camille THARAUD (1878/1956) passionately embarked on research and development of high-fire enamels, fired at 1400°C, traveling all over France to find all kinds of minerals and oxides. He will create the first decorations by hand on raw enamel in Limoges porcelain.
Camille THARAUD remains the globally recognized porcelain maker for his high-fire decorations and sees his works exhibited in the greatest museums.
