18k Gold Round Medallion French Photo Frame Pendant 4.24g CIRCA 1890 Antique

Antique French Victorian medallion in 18K (750/1000) gold, round, adorned with a chased and enhanced ivy motif. The hallmark is partially obliterated following an old restoration on the bail. Acid test confirms 18-carat gold content.

NOTE: The inner ring that holds a photo in place is not gold. The decorated part is not very thick, which gives it a deformed appearance; but if you insert something in it, a piece of cotton for example, it may return to its original shape. When pressed, a sound is heard, indicating the thinness of the plate. Used with care, it will undoubtedly last another century, proving that it still exists. . Overall in good condition. Jewel in used condition. Sold as is.

NOTE: Pendant available alone or with a 14k gold filled forçat link chain, with 45 cm length, 1.70 mm width and each oval link measures approx. 2.70 mm long, 0.20 mm diameter, gross weight 1.20 grams.
