Timeless, vintage necklace in 18-carat (750/1000) yellow gold from the JEAN & PIERRE BELLIN workshop, featuring a fine link chain adorned with a pendant representing a polished and amatized elephant, the body in lapis lazuli, the tusks adorned with two diamonds and the eye in emerald. This splendid work of art is hallmarked by an unknown master, and also bears the eagle head hallmark of French 18-carat gold (hallmarks on one end of the chain holding the clasp).

NOTE: No trace of use, vintage but perhaps never used, it is in excellent condition!

The French eagle head hallmark has been in use since 1838 and remains one of the best-known hallmarks. In particular, it guarantees the title of 18k or 750‰ gold.
