One-piece brass frame, 28-strand fluted grip, simplified quillon rolled into a button.
Guard side stamped with the circled "B" for "J.G. BICK" controller 1st class from May 5, 1815 to March 4, 1825 of the Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal and the numeral "5".
Flat steel blade stamped with the same "B" hallmark as the hilt, and with a naval anchor hallmark.
Back of blade engraved in cursive with "Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal mars 1821".
Blackened leather scabbard with trigger guard.
