Admitted to the Beaux-Arts in Paris, he traveled extensively between Normandy and Brittany, Pont-Aven. He stopped at the Hostelerie des Vieux Plat in 1884. Inn run by the Aubourg family between Le Havre and Fécamp. A fabulous place where such illustrious figures as,
Monet, Léon Duval Gozlan (COROT's last pupil), Flaubert, Maupassant, Satie, Wagner....
Some of his works are in the Brooklyn Museum.
