Léon HERBO (1850-1907), Young boy with a flute, oil on canvas, signed upper left and dated 1879. This painting seems inspired by the painting "Singing Boy with a Flute" by the Dutch painter Frans Hals, which was painted around 1623-1624, which is in the collection of the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin. This painting was also executed in a style which is reminiscent of Frans Hals.
