Unique glass and bronze mantel clocks made during the period of Nicholas I (1825-1855) in the style of the late "Empire".
The solar theme rising from the waters of the sun is associated with the abundance of nature in the dial ornamentation and the dominant flowerpot on the conical glass. The general leitmotif of the mobility of waves and time permeates the work and is noticed in the rhythm of the glass and the pattern of the dial. At the center of the composition, Him and Her help from Helios. Alpha and Omega of the universe. They rise from the waves and hold the sun, affirming love, life, fertility. This is the common thread of time. The watch is made of gilded bronze, richly decorated with artistic decoration in the form of male and female figures mounted on a cobalt glass pedestal supposedly made at Imperial Glass Factory in St. Petersburg, with bronze bases made of growth ornaments. The upper part of the watch is made in the shape of a vase and is decorated with a floral decoration in gilded bronze. The dial is marked with Roman numerals, decorated with a decoration in the form of sunbeams turned in a circle of hours.
