Rare cane-bottom armchair, with scalloped backrest in a semi-convertible, in molded and richly carved natural wood, decorated with shells, acanthus leaves, gadroons, volutes, valances, diamond patterns, etc., resting on four slightly arched legs terminated by windings (a piece of foot redone). The frame of the seat is also richly carved, decorated with a frieze of ovals; florets, lambrequins and squaring.
