Description

This description has been translated and may not be completely accurate. Click here to see the original

An elegant mechanical music box dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Its brass cylinder mechanism and steel comb are protected by a glass plate. It is housed in a rectangular walnut-veneer case. Inside the lid, a charming period polychrome label lists the four tunes it plays:
“Boccaccio”
“Sobre las Olas” – Waltz
“Martha”
“Le Joyeux Forgeron”
The music box works perfectly and plays all four melodies correctly.
