Head, representing an ancestor of the clan that is linked to the cult of ancestors. The sculpture is fine and very balanced. The fine face has half-closed eyes and the expression is peaceful. The mouth is slightly forward and a thin beard necklace adorns the lower part of the face. The traditional openwork headdress is very well worked and refers to the cross of Katanga.
Wood with dark crusty patina (some missing parts).
