Beautiful Louis XVI Directoire period officer's chest of drawers in speckled mahogany veneer, ebony fillet and brass inlays. With fluted uprights, it opens with 3 large drawers, the first with shirt dividers, and stands on toupie feet. It is topped with white marble set in a brass gallery with diamond-shaped trellis motifs. Late 18th century, circa 1790-1800.

Our commode is a highly refined Parisian production in the Molitor taste or attributable to Molitor. In addition to its elegant lines, it has all the finishing touches that connoisseurs look for. It's a handsome piece of furniture with a masculine character, the expression of our personal taste.

It's in excellent, accident-free condition, with the pad varnish refinished by our cabinetmaker. Minor gluing to the marble in the corners.
