Hello, I offer you this beautiful and rare Norman wedding armoire, from the first half of the XIXth century, from the BAYEUX region.
It is made of solid oak, nicely carved, with a rounded base and a decoration of acanthus leaves, which makes it rare.
The lower crosspiece is made of a carving decorated with a vase of Empire style, the central amount is decorated with vine climbing, in the movements of doors, we find attributes of work with ears of wheat, a scythe, sickle, bat, fork, etc. ....
In the upper part of the cabinet are 3 beautiful and large bouquets of flowers, the beautiful cornice in the form of a gendarme hat, is well offset and also carved.
The left door closes with a rack and pinion system inside, and the right door closes with a working lock that has its original key.
The sides are made of 3 panels (sign of high quality)
