Bowl, fruit bowl or centerpiece in Le Creusot crystal, finely cut with lattice motifs. The motifs are highly complex and finely executed entirely by hand. Early 19th century - Empire - Restoration / Charles X (circa 1815-1820), Manufacture Royale du Creusot.

The Montcenis factory in Le Creusot was taken over in 1804 by Jean-François Chagot; it became a royal crystal works again under the Restoration (Louis XVIII and Charles X). This period (1814-1830) was the most prosperous. Its high-quality production earned it several gold medals at Industrial Product Exhibitions. The crystal works produced a number of chandeliers, vases, lamps and clocks, as well as a multitude of small crystal objects such as flasks, carafes, goblets, glasses, egg cups, mustard cups and goblets.

Perfectly transparent crystal, luxurious materials and spectacular effect: this is a beautiful collector's piece in excellent condition. A small chip on one corner of the base.
