    Extremely rare, original Foire De Paris 1968 poster, which adds to its intrinsic value.
    This poster announces the 1968 edition of the Foire de Paris, an annual trade fair held in Paris. The fair has been held since 1904 and since 1923 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris. The fair always takes place towards the end of April and lasts just over a week. These types of fairs have their origins in colonial exhibitions and universal fairs, at which an empire (such as France) could demonstrate its colonial exploits and resources to the world. The 1968 edition of the show was a major modernization.
