Pot cover in earthenware of Gien, city of the Loiret where will be founded in 1821 the manufacture of the same name, specialized in the manufacture of Ceramics.
Its rounded body is covered with cornflowers and other flowers in shimmering colors. These decorations on a Cerulean Blue background recall the Longwy enamels and their recognized know-how.
This Pot Cover has two handles carved in Turtle Heads, with Green paint with a crackled look. This same finish is found on the three Reptilian legs that support this object, as well as on the perimeter of its opening.
