    BRICE Roland (1911-1989)
Sculptor-ceramist, a former student of Fernand Léger, he became his regular ceramist from 1949. In his Biot studio, he worked on his own creations, which bear the imprint of the painter - primary colors, black lines, curvaceous figures... Brice also focused on free forms, combining the useful and the beautiful in his vases, dishes and plates. He was a fervent advocate of art in the city and polychromy, a vital dimension for human beings.
