    Pair of antique Neapolitan candelabras in gilded and carved wood, dating from the second half of the 18th century.

    The central baluster-shaped body is inspired by the forms of a classical vase or urn, with richly decorated side handles.

    The shaft is fluted with decorative bulbous knots typical of the Baroque style, and is embellished with numerous curved arms ending in multi-level sockets.

    The three-legged base is curved and features lion paws.

    The front of the base features an embossed star, a decorative symbol that may have symbolic, heraldic or simply ornamental significance.

    Condition : Good condition.

    Origin: Naples, early 18th century.
