This pair of wall sconces from the 1970s embodies the skills of Murano's master glassmakers. Each sconce consists of a glass half-cylinder with subtle contrasts: the outside offers a smooth wall that captures ambient light and delicately reflects it, offering a soft, refined touch. The inside reveals crushed fragments. This internal structure, with its transparent amber hue, diffuses light with a warm, sparkling intensity.
The glassware is firmly attached to its gilded steel support by two Plexiglas cabochons, with two sockets per sconce.
