Hello, I offer you this very nice and old pair of cast iron garden vases.
The provenance is on the plates in front of the base but too much paint to distinguish it,
but the model is well of this foundry of Charleville, Alfred Corneau, which was one of the
manufacturer of cast iron art of the second half of the nineteenth century, which was then taken over in
1886 by the company Deville, Paillette et Cie and the production continued until the middle of the 20th century.
This pair of vases dates from the end of the Alfred Corneau period, that is to say around 1880.
They are in white cutter paint and need to be repainted or stripped.
They are in very good condition, ie, no breakage, no crack
The dimensions are :
Height with handles 48 cm
Width with handles 60 cm
Diameter neck 33 cm
Diameter of the belly 43 cm
Diameter of base 24 cm
These vases are visible in my store located at 57 rue Visctor Hugo, 76000 Rouen
