A pair of large grisailles in oval medallions depicting scenes in the antique style, one depicting a woman with bared breast fighting a snake (symbol of carnal sin) surrounded by cherubs and the other depicting a woman who seems to be asleep next to a cherub with a clock face in her hand and a man at her feet.these grisailles are painted in 18th century gilded frames.

One of the paintings has been refinished with minor restorations.
