Still life with Etruscan vase, follower of Georgius Van Os, 19th century.
Most decorative, this large oil on canvas dates from the 19th century, treated in the style of a painting by Georgius Jacobus Johannes Van Os (1782-1861), the decor is organized on a stone opening with a green drapery in the background , the composition revolves around an Etruscan vase, we find on the right in a wicker basket a multitude of flowers painted in detail with beautiful colors and a beautiful fluidity, the rest of the composition s accompanies many fruits but also a cereal with corn.
This oil on canvas of good quality, dates from the first half of the 19th century, it bears a signature at the bottom right, unidentified, the painting was covered during a restoration and fixed on a posterior frame. There are signs of wear and pictorial lack. The painting is presented in a small golden baguette.
