This impressive 19th-century marble medallion weighs 24.5 kilograms.
The sculpture is of the highest quality. We haven't found out anything about the "EM" monogram, but we'd be delighted to receive any information about this signature.
It's a beautifully crafted direct carving, with a lovely drape, a fine technique in the clothes and also in the hair, there's no doubt this is a quality sculptor.
As for condition, we would point out some rubbing and traces of wear, as well as small marble chips. This medallion is in its original condition, with its original patina.
