    Very Rare Empire period clock in blackened wood by the Swedish clockmaker Anders Sandberg (1776-1829) from Norrköping.

    The clock is equipped with a movement with golden Verge escapement with an engraved and chiseled Rooster. Signed "Sandberg Norrkoping".

    The Clock is contained in a large blackened wooden case with an original gilt bronze hook.
    Original gold metal dial, original double mineral glasses.

    Movement recently revised (10/30/2021) by my watchmaker, polished and lubricated.
    Complete with an old key for winding and adjustment.

    The wooden crate measures 15.5x15.5.
