Rare Small Cabinet in Walnut Veneer and Burr Walnut, designed in 1920/1930.
This Storage Unit opens with two doors, presenting Animated Recesses on the Front.
The pediment of the latter is dressed in a pretty solid, scalloped and salient border. It emphasizes a Burl Walnut veneer, known as “Deployed”. Its concave contours are united in the lower part by a Decorative element similar to that described above.
The Cabinetmaking technique used on this Cabinet allows for Perfect Visual Symmetry in the Wood designs. It remarkably reveals the intensity of its darker and lighter shades. Thus the openings are embellished with a Walnut Veneer, Horizontal, which is also found on the Sides of the Furniture.
This Centenary property has two handles, Original and Brass, cut in the shape of Flowers.
The Interior is structured in two parts: on the left, a wardrobe with extendable rod, then, on the right, a space made up of four shelves. These are fixed and all have a depth of 23 cm.
In accordance with the characteristics of the Art Deco movement, the lines of this Furniture in general and of its Uprights in particular are rounded.
We will appreciate the Personality that emanates from this Robust Wardrobe, having benefited from meticulous work. Its Modest dimensions associated with an Original interior layout make this Property an Ideal Storage Unit for an entrance, in which you can store coats and shoes.
Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. Finish Varnished after stripping.
