Circular porcelain bowl with polychrome decoration in the imari palette of flowers. Polychromy uses an underglaze blue accented with red, gold and orange applied to the glaze. Inside in the center are a small bouquet enhanced with gilding. China, KANGXI period (1662-1722).

On the Chinese imari:
Of Japanese origin, the Imari style was quickly copied by China, when the latter resumed trade with Europe while Japan rather applied a policy of isolation "Sakoku" during the Edo period.
