Small Middle Secretary, Victorian Era, in Burl Walnut.
This Cabinet comes in two parts: in the upper part a Lectern, surmounted by an inkwell space, which reveals a locker, and in the lower part an Office with multiple storage spaces.
An inclined flap, opening with a key, reveals a Lemon tree interior with four niches and four false drawers with Rosewood knobs. The Writing Case is lined with Brown Leather with a Central Vignette and Golden Borders around the perimeter.
This Desk is crowned with an Inkwell in the shape of a Doucine which, once opened with the help of its small Original key, offers Mahogany compartments of different sizes.
The Writing case, and its movement facade, are supported by two solid walnut legs with a pronounced curve. They are Generously Carved from Foliage and finished in Coils.
The right side of the cabinet is made up of four drawers with identical dimensions. Each of them is provided with two round pull buttons and a functional lock with its key. It should be noted that the interiors of these openings are in solid Mahogany.
The left side face feigns an identical design, but the drawers are actually dummy.
The whole rests on a plinth, itself installed on four Boules feet. These are equipped with discreet Casters, making it even easier to move this desk, which is already easy to handle.
The Davenport, once appreciated in England by the Royal Navy especially for its Multifunctional aspect, can now also be chosen as a Small Standard Furniture. It should be noted that the one presented here has the Peculiarity of being made of Light Wood, which is quite Unusual.
