    Coconut bottle – Europe

    An old coconut bottle deeply engraved with foliage and hunting objects, it is finished with a zoomorphic head with two inlaid mother-of-pearl eyes. The mouth is formed or covered with a silver metal plate with a wooden cap.
    Typical of the work of European sailors from the 18th and early 19th centuries (port work, or convict work).
