Five EX-VOTO

Embossed metal
Set of five embossed and chiseled metal ex-votos featuring a hand, a young girl and a leg.
The ex-votos were hung in churches and symbolized wishes.
Two steps could be taken: either the wish was not fulfilled and the ex-voto marked the request, or the wish was fulfilled and the ex-voto was hung as a token of thanks.
