Wedding forgetting mold dated 1779 from the Perche region. Both plates are rimless, which is the main difference between an oublies or gaufrette mold and a waffle mold. The Perche region is renowned for its forgetting molds, decorated with an abundance of symbols: a stationary cross, a radiant sun, a heart for a wedding gift, a Maltese cross, a sign of universal expansion, trees of life evoking eternal glory, initials, maxims and a number for dating. Pallet dimensions 25 x 13.5 cm. Length 95.5 cm. Good overall condition, with traces of age and use.
