Beautiful old object which was used to unwind the skein of wool or cotton before winding. This functional dispenser has extendable rods decorated with alabaster tassels at the ends. The choice of width made it possible to adapt to the size of the skein.
The object rotates perfectly on itself on a wooden axis supported by a molded alabaster base. The whole rests on a base forming a basket supported by three small round alabaster feet.
A charming tool, from the old days, which will delight collectors and lovers of unusual objects.
