Pleasantly illustrated, these attractive books in good condition by Destouche and d'Harleville make up a coherent set from 1820 in 9 Volumes in 16 , printed in Paris , by Menard et Desenne in 1820 . These pieces, in vogue at the end of the eighteenth century and beginning of the nineteenth, are well-illustrated and beautifully typographed. Beautifully bound in full freckled calf, with smooth spines richly decorated with gilded irons, bright red morocco titles and calligraphy, boards adorned with friezes, marbled edges.
