Width: 21cm, Height with ball joint and excluding foot: 15.5cm
Semi-circle in openwork brass with two scales from 0 to 180 degrees, as well as two sighting pins. Engraved decoration of leaves and flowers.
The compass is engraved on the bottom with a compass rose in four directions as well as four additional directions, and a fleur-de-lys. The directions are also engraved in full. Blued needle. Engraved perimeter of the graduation from 0 to 360 degrees.
A rotating arm is fixed on the main plate, it is equipped with two aiming pins. Engraved afterwards.
The plate is fixed on a ball joint embedded on its support tube with its brass butterfly screw.
Rear wooden foot.
