    Large old brass pantograph, in its original box, signed Adrien Gavar (1794-1871) 70 Quai des Orfèvres (Paris), vintage 19th century.
    This pantograph is in good condition. Signed see photos (box also). It has many accessories.
    Note: some scratches and traces of oxidation, wear and tear over time.
    A pantograph is a drawing instrument, made up of articulated rods which allows enlargements or reductions to be made using the properties of homothety to maintain the proportions between the original drawing and the copy.
    * Adrien Gavard (1794-1871): Manufacturer of instruments for surveying and geodesy, Gavard specialized in pantographs and integraphs. He was a supplier to the General War Depot.
