Akwanshi stone sculpture from the Cross River region, by the Ejagham people. The stone statue measures approximately 36 cm (excluding the base) and is carved from a very heavy, high-density stone. The exact date of this work is undetermined; it has a beautiful patina and is a spectacular object in the pure style of the Akwanshi people.
