Large antique Tuareg dish or bowl ( 40cm diameter and 20cm high ), large bowl or "Tazawat" playing a central role in the ritual of Tuareg hospitality! These wooden bowls often bear the mark of household ownership! This example is nicely patched with metal staples and steel nails, and has a beautiful patina of use and traces of wear, certifying its authenticity and age. A superb ethnic piece!
