    WAR AXE FORMING A PIPE STOVE - TOMAHAWK

    Iron, wood, cloth, felt, sinew, beads
    Iron blade with double openwork design on one side and hollowed-out design on the other to form the pipe bowl.the hollowed-out handle forms the pipe stem; it has been burned for its decoration in the form of a band wound along the length of the stem. The end of the handle is pierced and decorated with a red and white woven ribbon and a thimble forming a bell.hanging from the handle is a skin pendant, covered with a fully beaded motif on one side; it ends in a red felt rectangle, decorated with two beaded motifs, with bangs at the end.
    This war axe or tomahawk comes from the collection of an indianist located around the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
